What does armmad mean?
Արմատ is the Armenian word for the root of a plant, vegetable or herb.
How long do herbal salves last?
All salves and balms last about 4-6 months on the shelf and up to a year in the refrigerator.
How frequently should I use a salve?
I tend to use the baby face salve once a day but when it comes to other ailments, applying anywhere between 2-4 times a day can be beneficial. Each salve is kept under a 3% essential oil dilution to prevent irritation.
What if I have a bad reaction?
Please always patch test a salve on the inside of your wrist before applying elsewhere. Please contact us if you have any specific concerns.
What if a product is sold out?
Sold out items will be restocked within 3-4 weeks!
When do new products come in?
New products will be added at least 2 times a year.
How should I use the mood balms?
Each mood balm addresses a different emotional state. I recommend applying it to pressure points: temple, between eyebrows, under top rim of ear, inner wrist, upper back on either side of neck.
How are the products made?
Every product is handmade in small batches. Herbal infusions are made with an alcohol intermediary extraction and sunlight infusion. Beeswax is locally sourced from Beverly Bees. Herbs and essential oils are obtained through local natural stores.
